| As a GILT513 group assignment, Nicole Schau, Alise Zirilli and I created a website using Wix for a made up middle school called Preppy Elite Academy. We included pages for admissions, alumni, student life, and more. |
| Reflection |
| I enjoyed this group project where I worked with Nicole Schau and Alise Zirilli to develop a made up middle school called Preppy Elite Academy. This was my first time using Wix as a web design platform and I liked how easy it was to create responsive web pages and to work collaboratively with my teammates. The team picked a template and then each team member customized a few pages within the site. I was responsible for the Alumni and Admissions pages. I also created a registration form for an Alumni event at the PNC PARK to watch the PIRATES VS PHILLIES play. This project was a great learning experience for me because I had to consider all of the elements that were needed to create a school website. Working on a website in a collaborative manner was something new for me. I had to trust that my team would produce work in the same style as the site. Thankfully, we worked well together and the site turned out great. |
