Description
As a GILT511 course assignment, I created a mock portfolio using Google Sites for all of the artifacts produced in GILT511. The site was to be the start of the portfolio that I eventually would be developing for GILT515. I never had any intention to use Google Sites for my portfolio in GILT 515, so after the assignment, I didn’t develop the site further.
Reflection
The Google Site I created for the class is a great example of information sharing, remote information access and, multimedia publishing. I created multiple pages and linked to all assignments from GILT511. I started aligning my projects to the PDE standards. The goal of the website was to start developing an eportfolio for the Instructional Technology graduate program. I never had any real intentions of using Google Sites for my ePortfolio, but this is my first attempt at trying to design web pages that aligned to the standards. I feel that when you compare this site with my final ePortfolio, you will be able to clearly see my growth in this area of instructional technology.
